The Wednesday Women’s Bible Study group meets on Wednesday evenings at 6pm in the Christian Education Building, 2nd Floor. They start a new study on May 15, 2019: Just Open the Door . The author, Jen Schmidt, has set out to reframe how we think about hospitality and to equip us to walk a road of welcome in our daily lives. Contact Teressa Gamble for more information.
JIPC Book Club normally meets the 3rd Thursday of most months, taking a break in July & August. Our next meeting will be June 20, when we’ll discuss The 100-year-old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared, by Jonas Jonasson.
In September, we’ll read & discuss Beneath a Scarlet Sky, by Mark Sullivan.
On the 4th Sunday of each month, we invite our congregants to BRING IT FORTH for James Island Outreach during our offertory time of worship. Bring nonperishable foods along with your weekly offering to the front of the church along with our worshipers. Those so wishing may have the ushers receive their offering at their seats.
If you arrive after 8:40am, please use the narthex (main) entry doors to sanctuary.
